redbrickrose	7:35p	Checking in I haven't checked my flist in well over a week, and I'm still not going to because that way lies madness and procrastination, but I hope you all are well and I miss you and I feel cut off from the world and by "the world" I mean "fandom," and I don't feel bad about that. You should tell me if I have missed anything important. I have another half of my second paper to finish and then maybe I will return and make you listen to me whine every step of the way while I write the third and last one. That would be fun for everyone involved, I think. A paper and a half left, last day of classes is tomorrow, two more days of the internship, oh God, oh God. So close and yet so far. I got a Christmas card from jocondite and it was delightful. Thank you, bb. ♥ Also thank you to fiercynn, kittyzams and a third, anonymous person for the virtual LJ gifts; they made me smile. ♥ ♥ Back to work! And hiatus and isolation! redbrickrose	2:45p	Happy Thanksgiving to everybody celebrating! ♥ ♥ I'm making pecan pie and baked macaroni and then I'm heading over to hang out with everybody else from my program who's left in town for the holiday. Even with the compulsive television marathoning that tends to happen when I'm under finals stress (The West Wing season four this time /o\), I have discovered that not allowing myself LJ actually does lead to enhanced productivity. (I know, who could have possibly guessed that). What that means is I have to take an honest to God LJ hiatus for the next couple of weeks at least. If there's anything I desperately need to know, either email me or put it here? Also, I will always be available via email, and seriously don't hesitate to email me with whatever. I'm just trying to cut down on the link-hopping-type distractions, or that thing where you end up caught in metafandom or the bowels of fandom_wank for four hours, but I'm going to miss talking to you guys. A couple of things: The other day romanticalgirl wrote me Gabe and Ryland to cheer me up and it was pretty great. I am constantly trying to figure out why there is not more Gabe/Ryland in the universe and there is no explanation. I have five four google wave invites!
